Maidana lacks so many things but he stepped in that ring to do his thing and Floyd didn't like it one bit. Maidana standing in the centre of the ring at times and yet Floyd wasn't able to get any offence off instead he was left posing worrying about Maidana throwing a right hand.

 

Well, I'm afraid I disagree.

In recent fights Maindana has shown better defence and head movement, he cuts the ring off more effectively and he seems to have developed a useful jab. He's also more patient and measured when letting his hands go.

He's still pretty wild and aggressive, but recently he seems more controlled and effective. I think so, anyway.

 

You're right, Garcia has improved him.
