Adam Smith - terrible commentator and presenter

    This guy was absolutely dreadful at his job (commentating) and finally stopped and gave the fans some much needed respite from his very poor commentaries. He is woeful as a presenter as well, and has the creepiest facial expressions you'll see imo. A few of my mates who are casual fans have often commented on how much of a twat they thought the chap was. This guy has stolen a living from boxing for a long time if you ask me. Very very poor at his job and someone who irritates me and a lot more viewers. I know he's probably a nice chap and a big fan of boxing but that doesn't excuse his ineptitude. How did he get his job with Sky? From his accent I'm guessing he's middle/upper class and probably got some family connections with people high up in sky? im theorizing here

    Yeah i agree mate looks gay as **** not that it's a problem just i'm sure sky can do a lot better then this chump

    He looks like a 'weekend tranny', IMHO.

    One of the lads in the week at work (or pretends to be) then dolled out in womes gear on the weekend. Kinky barstard.

    Christ Adam Smith is a lot better at his job than Johnny Nelson. It makes me laugh how he is still a presenter on Ringside when he fluffs his lines EVERY show, asks the most obvious questions (sometimes twice) and makes the same jokes about how good or bad a boxer he was almost every week.

    I sometimes turn Ringside off when Johnny is having one of his stinkers and I usd to never miss a minute of it.

    Could you honestly see Sky put up with this if it was on their 'holy grail', football? I vey much doubt it.

    I agree that Smith is not the best but by God how does Johnny get paid? Absolutely awful and many a time I have thought he was having a stroke the way he was fumbling his words.

    For what we pay for Sky we should get the cream of the crop but we don't.

    The shows Matchroom put on are generally one sided mismatches, Ringside is terrible now and so dated. Also very repetitive. The international shows are few and far between and overall I am generally dissatisfied with the boxing content i get for what i pay.

    Anytime you complain or that you hav Hearn telling us its not PPV. like sky sports are a bloody terrestrial channel?!

    I agree with everything you say Semtex.

    When you think about it there are hardly any decent 50-50 match ups on matchrooms shows and Ringside has become boring it really does need a revamp and without 'good ole Johnny Nelson'.

    Again it shows what Sky really think of boxing because their football coverage is first class

    Exactly. The chap looks like a gimp on TV. Its embarrassing looking at his facial expressions when other people are talking. I'm sick of looking at the guy. He's been stealing a living for years.

    I enjoyed sugar ray leonard looking at him and saying he could tell by his body (adams body) that he could beat him up right there and then.
    sky shot to a break with nelson looking at both of them unsure what to say.
