    Why did he never go to the Olympics and World championships though?

    That is what makes me question those claims, even though Gonzalez is a great Pro.

    This is the sad state of boxing where promoters and lawyers can ruin a fighter's life. Look at both Ibeabuchi and Tua caught up in bogus legal issues that allowed the Klits sisters to become champions.
    Look at how much prime time Ali lost in the ring.
    Al Haymon is gonna snatch this **** out of the hands of Khazars and clean this **** up. :yep

    Minimum age requirements? He turned professional aged 18 and likely didn't get much funding from Nicaragua to send him to international tournaments? I'm guessing anyway.

    Could be that I guess Juan Diaz turned Pro at 16 as he was to young to go to the Olympics that he had made the squad for.

    Think 17+ is the age range.

    Yes but we must also take into account Ward's gold medal and 6+ year undefeated streak as an amateur.
