That's the giant that sent Tua into retirement? This looks like a good scrap. We're gonna see if Fury is the real deal or not. Is this fight still a n1 contender match?

 

Definitely plodding,but big and tough,despite being no youngster. Done nothing wrong before he boxed Pulev,who I rate and give a slight chance with Wlad. I don't think they would necessarily avoid Tony in the future,just not now. As it is,Id be pleasantly surprised{still} if Ustinov replaces Derek.

 

Good fight if it comes off.

 

Fury's jaw is terrible, but Ustinov isn't the guy to put him away.

 

Good choice if true.
He would be Fury's 3rd best opponent to date after Chisora and USS, but can be outboxed pretty easily and doesn't have a big punch wich could derail Fury's career.

 

More excited about this than the Chisora rerun. Ustinov has been been over sparring Chisora so knows what Fury is about and apparently is in alright shape. It's on Box rec so hopefully it's legit!

This should be decent really hope it happens ideal replacement on short notice. Tony thompson would have been good but let's face it peter would be letting his man down putting him in with a very tricky skilled southpaw with no preperation. Given a proper camp for him sure they'd fight him no problem. Thompson wouldn't be able to handle fury's work rate if that fight happened IMO.

Bit harsh... there's not many who'd take Thompson (a big awkward southpaw) at 4 days notice. Particularly when you've been training for Dell's style.

 

They better re-enforce the ring-these two are mammoths!:yikes

 

If he's in decent shape, it's just as good as a fight as Chisora.
