hes close to 40 now and still making sick money. most guys that made that kinda money were finished making serious money by the time they were 30, except for maybe foreman, leonard, and a few others.... he would really just have to throw it away to go broke at this point

If he doesn't change his lifestyle 5 years after retiring and he will be back

Probably around 5-10 years unless he becomes a decent promoter or something. A million would last me a lifetime, he could probably blow that in a week.

That **** adds up though. The lifestyle. The cars, the gold diggers, the clubs. It does add up.

If he doesn't change his lifestyle, then he'll go broke. Hopefully he's smarter than that though. Hopefully he and Pac are smarter than that.

He's got TMT, he's promoting now. I'm sure he'll be fine.

I give him 5-10 years tops after he retires considering his cost of living, the leeches and the gold diggers.

He'll end up like Bowe selling autographed boxing gloves at a flea market and taking sporadic fights into his late 40s.

Pacquiao will be worse. The guy already has problems with the IRS and he's still fighting. I see Pacquiao ending up like Balboa in Rocky 5, going back to poverty that he came from and severely brain damaged.

I started a thread a while back saying we would see floyd vs manny years too late. Still planning on bumping it in 2020

If he's making 32 million a fight guaranteed, twice a year that's 64 million minus Harmon's adviser fee which I've read is around 20 percent(unverified) so that's around 13 mil if that numbers true. So that's 50+million. If he's got a accountant his tax bill shouldn't be too bad. I can't see how he can squander that unless he has a very bad gambling problem. I know guys who make 20k a month and are broke every month because of their gambling issues but I have to think even if Floyd has a problem his advisers have put some money away, bought some commercial properties, etc.

Anything can happen to anybody but I believe Mayweather has made some sound financial investments that will allow him to maintain his lifestyle for as long as he lives . Also his kids will be well taken care of. It might look like he's spending too much but he knows where to draw the line.

This, the man has been making serious money for a long time, he already has his properties, cars, jewelry and still making 30+ mill a fight.

It's not like the man won 50+ mill on the lottery and has to buy all that stuff.
    He already has it.

No when he loses he'll do a Hamed and self implode 5 yrs and he'll be broke. Then he'll wish he'd grown a set & fought Paquaio, Margarito Williams etc instead of ducking them Then maybe he'd had a decent legacy as an ATG & not just a very talented wannabee like he is now:hi:
