Theres really an unknown quantity in this bout.

Will the Perez that fought Mago ever resurface.

He did not look the same in the Takam fight after about the 3rd rd.

Not saying that should been a walkover, but Takam and Mago are similarly built, with a slight power advantage to Mago, and a slight skill advantage to Takam.

Now, he was doing fantastic early, but in the 4th and on, he gave it away, and I don't know if I gave him a rd after the 4th.

Yeah, he managed a draw in that fight, but it was a gift, and we can rest assured he'll be getting no gifts on Saturday.

Jennings will hook off the jab and fire hooking right hands around Perez's gaurd, and using the Philly shell to defend and counter.

If Perez doesnt find that killer instinct he had vs Mago, he'll lose a 9-3 type decision. If Perez is </= when he fought Mago, I would predict a midrds KOd or close decision won by KDs for Perez.:think

Its one of two hugely important fights this wknd....Perez/Jennings/Fury all sheltering unbeaton records,Id love Perez to win simply because I know more about him but from what I've been told here Jennings may well be the best of the American heavy's right now.So for me its Perez and Fury to come through there most challenging fights to date!! Bring it on...

I'd like to see the winner of Jennings-Perez fight the winner of Fury-Ustinov. Then, the winner of that fight fights the winner of Wilder-Stiverne. Then, the winner of THAT fight gets a shot at Wlad.

Im backing Perez, but there are so many question marks going into the fight.

Perez is what the Heavyweight Division needed, a fighter who knew how to fight small. Every other heavy only knows how to fight as the biggest guy in the ring.

Jennings isn't so hard puncher as Takam. Perez will box smart and counter Jennings. Perez by UD.

Why do you care about **** guys fighting in **** division VG_addict?:huh

Anyway, I go with Jennings. I would like to see Perez gettin his hand raised but I am afraid Mike does not have it anymore.. He looks changed man after Magomed fight.:verysad And Jennings mobility and good jab poses some real problems anyway to Perez.

Good and interesting fight for every real boxing fan.

In all honesty he should have taken a longer break after the Magomed fight. That fight was brutal, and the way it ended must have taken a serious toll on Mike mentally.

I really hope he turns up Saturday as I'm a big fan.

Each of the winners tomorrow will be looking for a shot at Stiverne, if not probably Wlad, without further eliminators.

only reason im pickin jennings is because of the mago fight. idk if sumthing has been takin outta him or not but it looked like sumthing happened.

but he should be refreshed and energized. and has some motivation back on hisside
im thinking maybe he fought to soon after that brutalizing fight. maybe a longer lay off would have done him right. but no fighter is managed perfect so hopefully he goes back to his old self

No way Jennings eats the kind of shots Mago took, remember that Tupou knoced him on his ass, and he's no world beater. Perez isn't the hardest puncher, but he definitely hits harder than Tupou. Jennings isn't going to win this one by taking a lot of shots like you said. I think Perez will win like you said by mid rds stoppage.
