JMM did what he wanted to do with Pac. KTFO6=Game over.

IF Pac wants to try his luck again he will have to pay Marquez.

From what I understand, Marquez is doing well enough that he does not need
to ever fight again. Only thing he is interested in is a belt at 147.

I don't care regarding my main point and my main point wasn't regarding PPV buys, it was regarding Pacquiao giving Marquez the chance when he could have easily ignored him. PPV buys?, Pacquiao isn't completely locked up to facing Marquez as you already know, he could(as he already proved) move on and fight others for simialr PPV buys or higher(as already proven too).

No you're not being fair. If you're being fair your would acknowledge the fact that it was Pacquiao who gave Marquez the first shot at stardom by facing him. Pretty much the same way Barrera gave Pacquiao the shot when he could have ignored him too.

Whether the series is over or not isn't my concern nor my point. My point is when Pacquiao had wins over Marquez he still gave him two shots at avenge these close defeats. Now it's Pacquiao who's coming off the loss and Marquez is proving to be ungrateful and pathetic. What's sad is that he has fans that support him for this behavior and claim to be "fair" in the process.

Unfortunately, the only apparent troll here with ignorant comments that clearly lacks any knowledge whatsoever regarding these two and their history since 2004 is you. What's more pathetic is how you're pretending you existed back then.

Yes, the third fight was considered a joke by MANY and many people also thought this fight will be a one-sided ass kicking by Pacquiao simply because Marquez looked horrific against Mayweather. Obviously the majority, who are clueless fools, overlooked the fact that Mayweather's style was the reason behind Marquez looking horrific, not the weight class. I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't exist in 2011 either with your continuous ignorance.

This "no option" excuse is pure nonsense. Arum will always be able to find someone for Pacquiao eventually considering how big a draw Pacquiao is. In reality, it's Marquez who's stuck and has no one at the moment especially when he's coming off a loss to Bradley. In addition to that, Marquez can't sell big PPV numbers based on his name all alone, he needs a famous/serious opponent or no one will give a damn.

This is definitely a sign of the day of judgment.

I honestly thought Marquez will soften up and eventually take this fight after Pacquiao-Bradley II, especially when he openly said he plans to fight the winner. Now that Pacquiao won and Marquez is passing, I seriously don't expect a fifth fight to happen ever. Marquez isn't getting any younger you know so he's most likely going to hang them up.

Pathetic move from Marquez against the man that gave him the shot back when no one cared to.

MARQUEZ knows he will be exposed. First, that the KO was a lucky punch, and Lastly, that VADA will expose his dirty ASS with all those ACNEs. :hat

Not a lucky punch, Pac got dropped earlier in the fight :patsch:patsch

and If Pac would have balls he would've been doing blood testing since 2010 then maybe he wouldnt have got KO but thats his fault! I guess u call that karma :hi::hi:

    Oh, boy! Where to start?

First off, no matter how you spin it, Pacquiao is still the draw. Albeit not as big a draw as before, but still far and away more popular than Marquez. Pacquiao knows he can still get $15-20 million to fight a guy like Algieri without having to give a ton to Marquez. And to be honest, not many fans are clamoring for a 5th fight.

I had Pacquiao winning the first three fights, with the 2nd and 3rd being close (7-5 either way). You've got to give JMM credit for landing a great punch, but I don't think it takes away from the previous 41 rounds which were almost evenly split between the two.

I wouldn't blame JMM for not fighting again. As of now, there are no positive tests, so he can claim he wasn't on PED. If he has enough money, he shouldn't risk getting pinched by a commission.

The knockout and the knockdown are two completely different punches in two completely different situations.

If Pacquiao didn't have "balls" he wouldn't have fought Marquez x4, Morales x3, Barrera x2, Bradley x2, Cotto, Concreto at 150, De La Hoya, Hatton, Clottey and many more.

As a PAC fan, I was dissapointed that he refused to fight For a 5th fight against JMM in Mexico City.

Always felt JMM was in the driver's seat after KO6.

And JMM if he feels that Mexico City should be one of his farewell fights, that I hope he gets one against Pac's sparring partner, Shawn Porter.
