I've heard what the illness is, and it's about as serious as it gets. Not good.

Rumour has it that Chambers might well fight Ustinov.

this is bs most likely but chambers would get hospitalized. In his misguided delusional mind he has somehow come to the conclusion that training with the Fury's will get him to where he needs to be. Another rude awakening in store for fast food eddie.

Fury complained that Ustinov was fit and had trained, openly said "I'm being stitched up" and didn't seem that keen yesterday after he saw Ustinov.

Today he pulls out claiming family issues, his Uncle is very ill... I wish him, his family all the best and wish his Uncle well...

but come on, can you imagine if Haye did this? Can you imagine if Chisora did this? These forums would be alight with abuse. Chisora has got a fractured hand people on here still accused him of bottling it, ducking and being a s**thouse lol

Let's be honest, most people will think Fury didn't fancy it, said he was being stitched up and has gave it a swerve. I like Fury, I have been turned into a bit of a fan by Tyson himself over the last couple of years but this is in my opinion blatant.

He done right thing pulling out of fight, it was a tricky enough opponent especially at a few days notice, when you consider he was training to fight a small heavyweight in Chisora, not one at 6'8 and 20.5st. Now remember he wont be mentally on fighting when his uncle is seriously ill, and combine that with fact its also his trainers brother who is seriously ill (who he named his son after), so he wont be in frame of mind either. Combine all 3 facts and it is totally the right decision by Team Fury.

Really disappointed in fury. After everything he's said...he now does much worse than haye or chisora who both seemed to have genuine injuries. As much as i like him and he's quality entertainment....i wouldn't mind if they got him out of boxing. The gypsy's if it's okay to call them that dont seem to play by any rules just their own.

This was a massive oppertunity for fury tonight...and like most gypsies i ve seen just on the tv mind, they seem delusional about their abilities. I think he's faced some home truths when he seen Ustinov wasn't half a foot smaller and 3 stone lighter.

I dont get why he's had to pull out they've been training for it for months. He's not injured. Even if it was peter that got ill....it's far from ideal. But what can you do sit about the hospital all night. It should fire him up more if anything especially with everything he said only yesterday. An injury to me gets a pass...you're waisting everybody's time fighting with an injury unless it's a minor one.

He can take fish eyes with him for all i care....the cards been a shambles from start to finish. Even the main event wasn't interesting to begin with god knows why we had months of build up for it and scripted press conferences which were cringeworthy at times really shows how desperate frank has become because i dont think he would have stood for it back in the day. The rest of the fights are only worth watching if your a big boxing fan with a big interest in the domestic scene but not really of interest to most casuals. Nothing on it that is of genuine interest to them and theirs about 17 fights ffs.

Could it actually have been a ruse from ****** all along bit far fetched....but offering refunds was a surprise to me...then he's pulled in from nowhere probably a better fighter than the one that pulled out. A more intriguing match up anyway only for it to fall apart on the day of the fight. Most people with tickets who were going when ustinov was fighting will probably still go now because they've made their arrangements etc he wont need to pay much in refunds plus doesnt have to pay for the main event.

Just to add obviously thoughts with the fury's about the uncle if it is genuine...and hope he makes a full recovery.

Totally agree. It's beyond stupid to compare this to any of Haye's pull outs, or even say it's worse lol. He's had five days notice to fight a completely different fighter, probably a better one and one already top ten ranked in one of the organisations. Klitschko probably wouldn't touch a guy like Ustinov with a full training camp so why the **** should Fury potentially stall his career because Chisora shat it.

I wouldn't say it is untrue without reason, however depending on what the illness turns out to be it is of course entirely possible that Tyson could have gone ahead with the fight. If it is life threatening and he might pass away then of course he shouldn't fight under any circumstances - time will tell.
I am disappointed, more so since Chisora was out and Ustinov was in as I see him as a much better match.
I am unsure why so much is being made of the 'you can't expect Tyson to box someone like Ustinov at three days notice' as Ustinov has had the same short notice to box Tyson. Tyson has definitely had a full training camp, so even if Ustinov has had an 8 week camp himself - so what?
The pricing is what made this show crazy, £500 tickets are on the high side anyway but with no main event the people going to the show tonight should be given some kind of compensation, tickets to future events or something.

What an absolute load of bollocks. You seriously think Haye's injuries were genuine? Even though he was telling people the second fight wasn't going to happen long before his 'injury' and ducked out of signing a fullproof contract?

Load of crap about 'gypsies' too. As for training for months, he's been training to fight a completely different style of boxer, with sparring partners based on that style.

Agree with you on FW though, this night has been a farce from day one.

Totally dont agree. And thats even if we didn't listen to everything fury had to say only yesterday. Fury been banging on about oppertunity's...he got one and then totally done what he accused everybody else of. They get paid well to fight...i dont get the excuses like we trained for a smaller guy or i got a tweet on twitter saying he had a 8 week camp fury had a 12 week camp if not more. He should be more than prepared. I ll agree none of it's ideal but i'd be dissappointed in anyone that pulled out of a fight under they circumstances let alone after what fury had to say yesterday and all along. At least with chisora/Haye injuries do happen in boxing....do you want them to fight with a broken hand or arm injury or whatever?? Even after everything thats been said ustinov isn't even that great of a fighter....if you think your going to do anything with the klitchko's you should not be pulling out of a ustinov fight after a twelve week training camp regardless if you haven't specifically prepared for him or not
