GGG when asked by Max, who he wanted to fight primarily, uttered the name Miguel Cotto..

Cotto is known as a fighter who takes on all opposition...

Miguel, give GGG his shot at the big time...

GGG wants to unify 160 titles before moving up.

I say after he beats Canelo, the ppv would then be ginormous.

Why would cotto take this fight. Makes no sense taking a fight you know you would lose when you can just fight canelo, a fight which is guaranteed more money and guaranteed a victory over that hypejob

Cotto isn't taking this fight. GGG isn't the MASH unit Cotto has been feasting on recently and he would not last much longer than Geale did.

It will be funny to hear what Roach says (since he is there) as I was already entertained that Roach said Geale had a good shot to win tonight...which is fine... but then in another interview he says he'd never seen either guy fight. LOL

Frankly, I don't want to see Miguel take that kind of beating after the honorable career he's had up to this point. He should do the right thing- drop the 160 title and make the superfight with Alvarez. People would buy it regardless of what belt was on the line.

I want to see that. That will settle a few things. Plus it will be a big name on GGG's resume.

I like the fight. GGG vs Cotto or Nelo are good fights that boxing would benefit from. But GGG is a possible opponent that might not be worth the risk. Nelo and Cotto are names who bring a solid following that would earn them more money facing one another. GGG might be fighting other "Stevens" and "Geales" of the world before getting anyone who has a real name to face him.
