Of course they will. I think Arum is slowly making it clear lately that he's shameless and he doesn't care what anyone thinks.

What's sad is that that's a fight most fans would (rightly) be fine with if it didn't have the middleweight championship attached to it.

Golovkin's camp has been in talks with Soliman for unification fight, but Golovkin wants to fight Cotto, it would be a sell out at MSG and good PPV...............

Yep. Freddie knows what he's looking at: someone he doesn't want in the ring with Cotto.

    .....and he shat his pants.

Beside of course it's all bull**** he never seen him before. He knows well him, how much he would want to be his trainer, and how bad it would end for Cotto.

My guess is that it'll be a short scouting report: "No"

I kinda give Freddy a pass on that. He has an awful lot of people in and out of his gym and that was quite a while ago. Maybe he meant "enough" or "lately" as well, since he also said he thought GGG was one of the smaller 160 guys.

It would be competitive. The Cotto trained by Pedro Diaz, yes but not this one with Roach. His offense and power has come back.

All the combos he threw against Sergio were the same exact ones Freddie has been drilling with him on the mits.

Would love to see GGG in there but as of now there are much bigger money fights out there for Miguel angel.

Todd duboef has said him and Cotto are discussing a December return to the garden.

  14. Only if Cotto keeps fighting at middleweight he would be ducking. The baddest middleweight on the planet has made his intentions clear- he wants to unify the middleweight belts. If you’re not planning on defending the middleweight belts, then relinquish them.

Just to be clear, I like Cotto because he’s never ducked anybody. Cotto should make as much money as he can, and Golovkin isn’t the best option for that. Cotto’s legacy is secure. He doesn’t need the belts to fill seats. On the other hand, Golvokin could actually use the belts to build his brand, or at least use fights for the belt to build recognition. Boxing fans don’t need another logjam in a division because the guy with the belts and name recognition doesn’t want to fight arguably the best fighter in the division.
