Yeah but do you see him dropping that title? Or is he gonna keep it hostage like Martinez did, Cotto had to pry that belt out of Sergio's cold dead fingers...
Quite a shitty thing to do to GGG, a fighter who's been at middleweight all his life been looking for that WBC strap for ages, now Cotto slides in and snatches it from Martinez and then refuses to fight. Cotto should sign and take his beating like a man, he wanted to play with the big boys now he has to man up. Either that or drop it immediately, for the sake of the sport

Cotto doesn't need this fight, he's sacrificed enough of his health for this sport.

No, I don't see Miguel doing that, unfortunately. Not right off the bat. I see him taking the Canelo fight first, and going from there.

If Alvarez happens to win that fight, I could see him taking on GGG in what would be a big, very sellable PPV by that point in time.

Has to happen. Unification fight. Cotto is not a coward. GGG is probably smaller than Margarito. At least in height. This could be one heck of a fight.

Cotto needs to go after the money vs Canelo a fighter he has a chance of beating. He doesnt need to prove anything by taking Golovkin a guy in his prime who is a lot bigger and probably will KO him.

Golovking needs a big payday but he'll have to get it vs Chavez jr or he can go after Ward.

Has Canelo ever mentioned wanting to fight GGG?
