FROM what ive read after the sergio fight, they are looking for a drainelo fight (most likely at a c/w), and ggg down the road, prolly at a c/w too.

Cotto would leave the ring on a stretcher against GGG after a few rounds. No need for that fight. Cotto needs to give up the belt.

cotto should politely drop his belts and run far away from 160lbs.

Cotto won the title in his last fight and said he wants canelo or triple g next. I don't know what your issue is with that.

I beg to differ. I actually think Cotto with the right game plan would trouble the hell out of GGG.

Bully tactics, coupled with a stiff, timing disrupting jab and dedicated body work...Miguel would do better than most think. He is many levels above ANY opponent GGG has faced in his pro career.

The hangup is that Cotto doesn't clinch well and you have to tie GGG up if he starts having success trapping you on the ropes. Triple G is a live dog, he isn't a shop worn, basically shot Martinez.

Truth be told, So would I!

If I was cotto I wouldn't touch GGG.

If he takes canelo he gets more cash, and has a more winable fight (although I think he still loses).

Its a no brainer given the two routes.

Cotto has taken enough dangerous fights to now start picking the easier route. Just look at his resume
