Nick's first love is NFL and he was always good value alongside Kevin Cadle.

Halling is an excellent presenter/link/studio man, but be honest I was astonished when I first heard him providing boxing commentary.

I'm guessing that if Sky could find a more knowledgeable and talented commentator WHO WAS WILLING (that's the key) to do the job, Nick would be in a studio with Kev Cadle and Neil Reynolds.

Ian Darke commentating and Paul Dempsey in the studio were a very good team back in the day on SKY.

Halling is bloody awful, was he related to that bloke that Ola Afolabi boxed because he was talking him up like he was Gatti or Ward. Just shut up and get off Sky you complete idiot.

Ever since he ranted and raved about Geale's body shot being a low blow against Darren Barker then the replay showed it was nowhere near being low, I've not liked him.

 That one moment has literally ruined the replay value of that fight. It's no longer about Barker's great desire, comeback and win. Now it's 'oh, ****, Barker got low-blowed. Aussie c*nt.'

The thing with Nick is, when you listen to him commentating on a fight, he sometimes comes across as an enthusiastic late-comer to the sport of boxing! Yet when you listen to him talk about the NFL, you can tell that he not only loves the NFL, but has followed the sport for a long time and does possess a great deal of knowledge.

I would much prefer Nick going back to NFL coverage. Stick him in a studio with Kev, Cecil and Neil and watch him wind Reynolds up whenever Miami lost (Halling being a Steelers fanatic and Reynolds being a Dolphins fan. Different divisions I know, but same Conference). And I tell you what, T, Halling would have been all over the Jonathan Martin - Richie Incognito situation!! Yet Reynolds (A supposed Dolphin fan) barely mentioned it!!

Sticking with Sky's NFL coverage, I know it may be heresy to suggest this, but "King Kev" Cadle was often "well off" his A game last season!!

Glen's shite now mate, and he wants hoyed in a skip!! He's spent too much time with Dr Rockso and as a result is not capable of an original thought never mind a meaningful comment!!
