Not as funny as the Geale fans thinking that Geale was the man to beat GGG yet completely ignored the fact that Geale couldn't even get past Barker... talk about ******s lol

I thought he was doing well to land on Golovkin with decent consistency. But the way he happily sat on the inside with GGG after landing on him, rather than jumping back out of range, he was begging Golovkin to land on him and get KO'd.

Probably wouldn't have changed the end result if he had of used more of the ring but it atleast would have increased his chances of pulling off an upset or atleast would have helped him survive a few more rounds.

Good on Daniel for having a crack.

I thought he was asking to get KO'd also by the way he kept dropping his hands and show boating, i also didn't think he was doing to bad either. He did look nervous though. Even though he was landing, his punches just weren't hurting GGG. Geales usually the quiet guy who gets down to business and let his hands do the talking, well today, he just wasn't himself in the ring imo because he knew he was turning up for a beating, its why he was show boating, trying to boost his confidence and look good, but for someone who doesn't allow his mouth to try pump himself up and rather let his hands do the work, it was a little bit of polar opposites today.

Do you think great fighters like Corrales would have quit the moment they got knocked down and stood back up? Nope. He didn't have much of a crack and he will loose quiet a few fans from his lack of performance and heart today. its a shame because Geales not a bad bloke, he just left his courage and heart back in Australia today. The fight was lost before he even arrived in the states.

Whilst his fans may say he got in there when no one else wouldn't, well yes he did, and he got rewarded quite handsomely for it but in the end, he showed us all that he has a heart the size of a pea.

Daniel's set himself some huge goals in life and has made some great achievements. Making the commonwealth games, winning gold at the commonwealth games, turning pro, winning a world title, unifying world titles, facing a guy who no-one wants to face etc.. Have you done any of these things?

Has anyone who has an opinion on a boxing forum? Your basically saying that you can be a fan of the guy and praise him until the cows come home but unless you have achieved what he has than you should not criticize him no matter what lol

Im sorry but the world doesn't work that way. Welcome to reality pal.

No aggro, bit disappointing in the way he quit, i expected more from Geale. Other than that, im just having a stir with the guys who insisted Geale would defeat GGG when it was a long shot at best. How on earth they thought a guy can go from loosing to Barker to then defeating GGG is beyond me.

By all means everyone can have, is entitled to and can share their own opinion. But when you say things like Geale has a heart the size of a pea I find it really low comment. But that's just my opinion

I think most of us thought GGG would win but were hoping Geale could take him into the later rounds. I thought he did ok and had a crack but power was the main difference.
Guys keep going in about his loss to barker but that was the Brits once in a lifetime fight. He had one come from behind fight in him and that was it. Just like buster Douglas or our own Jeff Harding, good honest toilers who just dug deep for one night & won a title.

I knew Geales would get destroyed by Golovkin. Not surprising at all. Geales is a good boxer but his pitter patter volume style + his average power/chin at the elite level is simply not enough to trouble a fighter Like Golovkin who looks something special. As someone said awhile ago, it may have been Josey I'm not sure, Geales is the Australian version of the UK's Darren Barker. A decent boxer in this era who can win a belt but someone who certainly won't reign for long.
