Golovkin offered to come down to 154 and fight Void, but Void refused, just as Void has refused to fight Pac for years........................

Geale was a former champion, he beat other champions at 160. Macklin was bigger than Golovkin, but it made no difference. Golovkin tried to get Chavez to fight him, but Chavez backed out and Chavez walks around at 200 lbs. or more..................Golovkin has been in talks with Soliman, he also wants Quillin, Murray, Cotto, esp. Cotto...............

Golovkin Vs. Cotto would sell out at MSG, would be huge PPV. Roach was there to scout Golovkin, but after seeing him I doubt Roach will allow Cotto to come near Golovkin period. Golovkin's camp has been in talks with Soliman for unification fight, the other fake champions can run and hide the rest of their careers. Golovkin also offered to come down to 154 and fight Void, but Void ran away, hell, Void is still running from the midget Pac.................

Geale and Macklin are good top wins.

Stevens and Proksa are decent quality supporting wins.

Then it goes down to Adama, Ouma, Ishida, Bouhdla, etc...

The thing is that his best couple wins aren't elite top level wins and his best supporting wins against fringe top 10'ers in Stevens and Proksa aren't that great, let alone without any elite wins to be "supporting" in terms of an assessment of resume. Golovkin still doesn't stack up to the lofty way people value his talent.

While the extreme supporters of his very well may be correct and could be proven to be over the coming years, Golovkin has problems similar to that of many current fighters facing politics of many varieties preventing ideal match ups (lineals of Sergio and Cotto, Geale before his loss to Barker, fellow titlist Quillin, Sturm back in the day, guys you've heard call him out in Lara and Ward, etc).

Actually when the Proksa fight happened Proksa was rated 8 and GGG - 9 by the Ring.

Golovkin isn't a big guy to begin with and these divisions are 6 lbs apart... Who cares...

Canelo is bigger than Golovkin. Check out the pics of them as sparring partners.

Fair enough the loss Hope someone clearly below world level made me think that if he was top ten it would be borderline top ten.

The fact that he has never made 154 lbs in his career even whilst fighting Ishida and Rosado who where 154 lbs fighters suggest no.

He has said himself he is willing to make 154 lbs for big money fights but most fighters are willing to cut more weight if money is good enough.
