Katsidis sucked? Danny green sucked? We are not a big boxing nation and is tough for our guys to go over to the states, get good fights and become stars.. I think we do ok

Ishida knocked Kirkland out in the very first round. Golovkin fought Ishida, knocked him through the ropes and out cold. Ishida is now a heavyweight. Paul Williams could not even hurt Ishida period...........................

"I walked over to Golovkin after the fight and I said, 'Whatever anyone said about you, you are better than that,'" said Gary Shaw, Geale's promoter. "In all my years in boxing, he's the best 160-pounder I've ever seen. He has all the tools and all the moves. I thought Geale could take him to a decision. The better man won tonight.

    Gaele beat all of them.

He might have a hard time against Lara / Cotto, but Canelo is flatfooted trash with no head movement and would be a good payday, quillen slow past would lose him the fight. Gaele in and out boxing style is made for him to win against them. He's easily in the top 3 at least 160 pounders.

I have to agree, with the cereal man, though I've seen several of Geales fights, he is only slightly above average, and that's due to his work rate...he's never faced a top ranked US fighter, doesn't do anything special, average power, average speed, although he does have good movement, his chin is solid but let's be honest, he's never face a one punch knock out artist or anyone who's known for their power...

His fights with, Sturm, Barker and Mundine were all competitive close fights, and in my opinion even tho these fighters are considered the top of the division they are only B- or B level fighters at best, don't get me wrong they are decent fighters but none of these guys will be hof'ers...

Let's not act as if Geale has been competing with the likes of Hopkins, Roy jones, Tones, Hagler, Monzon, etc...dude is fighting decent competition that is available but those guys are nothing special and Geale has only proven all he can do is fight evenly with those guys, it's a good win for Golovkin but far from special, and those guys mentioned...lara, Quillin, Cotto, Kirkland, Canelo etc. from what I've seen from Geale's skillset and fortitude he loses to all and these are Jr middle weights, he may manage to fight competitive with one or two of these fighters...maybe...
