Hasn't he only been down twice? :think

    Taylor and Groves.

That's is with fighting Pascal, Bute, Abraham, Ward, Taylor, Dirrell, Johnson, Kessler x2 and Groves x2.

3G by crushing KO. You can't get hit as much as Froch does against someone like 3G.

Though, MW to SMW jump is big, that may be a factor indeed.

Came back after being knocked down to knock both of those guys the fvck out.

Triple Duck and HBO are going to avoid Froch like the Plague...

You're right. I think I was going to say "I've seen Froch out boxed many times" but said knocked down. At least that is what we will go with.

Bute looked a lot better than GGG- a much smaller guy who hasn't stepped up yet

    The hype is crazy

    You're right.

Bute's win over old Glen Johnson is better than anyone on GGG's resume.

Golovkin UD. Froch will take his shots all night, win 2-3 rounds on sheer adrenaline letting his hands go, but ultimately drops a decision to a more skilled boxer. Not sure about potential for brain damage, if Golovkin lands bombs to the head all night. GGG could Mago Froch.

the poll is 50/50 and i would go w froch to win the fight but i agree it is a 50/50 fight. i pick froch because he is taller, reach advantage and has a good chin, not to mention ggg is untested at 168.

    Golovkin should consider himself lucky.

Froch won't fight Golovkin because Golovkin is not PPV worthy and can't help put 80,000 asses in seats. So, Golovkin is not worth Froch's time and is small fry wanting to swim in the pond with the killer sharks.
If Golovkin got in the ring with Froch he would be like a guppie to an Oscar.
Like a mouse to a Cobra.
Like a hunk of smelly Russian cheese to a Nottingham rat.

It's good for GGG that at this point in time he's a nobody.
That gives him more time to train, brush up his skills, fight some live bodies and one day with luck, become a big star like Ward & Froch.
All GGG needs is a little time, and a lot of luck.

No doubt in my mind that Froch would fight Golovkin. That quote from Froch was taken out of context.
If Chavez Jr v GGG had been made and Golovkin got an impressive win on PPV, this fight would be more realistic.
The reality is Froch is looking for a big PPV fight in Las Vegas vs Chavez Jr and the James DeGale fight in the UK is a bigger fight for him than GGG going over there.
That's just the way it is.
Froch vs GGG would be one hell of a fight though.
