Farmy, Why would Maweather fight a nobody like Golovkin?
LOL, even many Russians don't know who Golovkin is.

What has Golovkin done to deserve a fight with Mayweather? Who has he beat that puts him in the front line? Geale? :rofl:rofl

What about that post isn't true. If you take away his sucker punch KO over Victor Ortiz he hasn't stopped anybody since Hatton which was in 2007. Nearly 7 years since he's had a legitimate knockout.

Yeah I guess you're right, I'm the one who picked GRJ to school Lomachenko and made tons of threads about it

Is MVC's right hand used to jerk off on Mr. Mayweather everytime he makes a Mr. Mayweather thread?

If Mayweather's punching power is like pillows, then why don't fighters like Canelo just walk through them and knock him out?

In their fight Mayweather didn't dance like Lara or bob and weave like James Toney. In the fight Mayweather did what all those rooting for Canelo said he wouldn't do. Stand right in front of Canelo and pop shot him with fast accurate jabs, straight rights and uppercuts.
Granted those punches weren't KO strength, but they had enough pop on them to make Canelo wary of throwing defence to the wind and slugging it out with Mayweather.:yep

Its not uncommon for fighters to move up in weight and not have KO success, esp. when they are fighting top fighters.

    Meh!

Mayweather's counter right is a great shot when he lands it clean and its very eye catching.

However, at this point in his career he lacks power, which is understandable.

It is an effective weapon, for sure, but "the most effective weapon in boxing today"? That's just going too far.
