King wasnt good to his boxers that's a fact but he was good for boxing fans because he put the best cards. Arum and DLH are just as crooked but they dont put good enough cards for fans to overlook that fact. We have more belts than ever and fighters dont fight eachother anymore.

Tyson, Julio Cesar Chavez, Felix Trinidad all Don King fighters that fought the best of their division.

    :hat

He's been around for decades and made tons of fights. Of course he made some good fights.

Most of his fighters (and nearly all black Ams) considered King a double crossing crook.

Boxing was more good to DK than DK was to the fighters he managed and promoted. I'll give him credit for being a good businessman in boxing. What the fans saw was a by product of what he was doing for himself.

i sort of see your point. both king and arum put on some huge fights and boosted the profile of boxing, but king especially is something of a crook. promoters are a bit sketchy, but that's money men anywhere in life.

arum was involved in some huge fights. more recent events have somewhat tarnished his record, but it shouldn't be overlooked.

    Thats true.

King is vice-versa to DLH & Arum.

King made real great fights, but ripped off his fighters' purses.
DLH & Arum have been staging FIXED FIGHTS, but pay their fighters good.

Sorry, you can try to rewrite history all you want, but Don King is still a scumbag who exploited the men who actually put their LIVES on the line for our entertainment. Boxing would have done just fine without this parasite.

There is nothing redeming about Don King . The great fighters made those great fights. King was able to baboozle fighters with empty promises and lies. He destroyed lives and careers. He was a blight on boxing.

Don King got eliminated by K2 and the rise of European heavyweights. That broke his neck.
