do you mean the resume that beat Sylvester and sturm in Germany, then beat mundine in Australia, before hitting US prime time against barker, and then golovkin?
    that's his last 5 fights

Golovkin's resume isn't horrible, these guys aren't bums. They aren't elite either but he's making them look like bums, that says something.

Triple Duck's last 5 opponents collectively are 9-6 for their last three fights.

    What does that tell you?

People don't half talk **** on here... He hasn't even unified yet! Options for Golovkin @ 160:

    -Martin Murray
    -Chavez Jr
    -David Lemieux
    -Billy Joe Saunders
    -Matvey Korobov
    -Miguel Cotto
    -Peter Quillin
    -Sam Soliman
    -Daniel Jacobs
    -Jermall Charlo
    -Jarrod Fletcher
    -Dmitry Chudinov
    -Andy Lee
    -Gilberto Ramirez
    -Sergio Mora

Let alone the 154lbers that usually make a step up as is the case in every era! Andrade, Vanes etc...

Good list, but Ramirez Sanchez is a 6'2 SMW who is only 22/23 and won't be able to make 168 for too much longer.
Same goes for Chavez Jr. He's not easily making 168, and no one believes he can make 160 anymore. He began his career at SFW when he was 5'9 130 lbs and only 17 y/o.
By the time he was 21, he was still only 5'10, and now he's almost 6'2. When he first made the move up to MW he was 6'. And he was cheating to make LMW, and was caught using Lasix in his MW debut.

Not saying he can't make weight without using diuretics, but he looks like Smoky from the PJs when he does.

I dont think a 5 million payday could drag him back down to MW.:nono

Geale 2-1 Loss in World title fight, robbery
Adama 2-1 Loss in World title fight
    Stevens 3-0
Macklin 1-2 both losses in World title fights, one robbery
Ishiida 1-2 one loss in world title fight, the other to a top 10 p4p fighter.

So......say what you will about their recent records.....but don't pretend they were stomped by other contenders. They were beaten by elites. PERIOD.:good

MW has historically been one of boxing's banner divisions. How about someone man the **** up and give GGG a run for his money? Instead he has to take his 5'10" frame that could make JMW and go to SMW and fight a guy who won gold at LHW?

That's a bit unfair. He still has some fights to make at MW.

:lol::lol::lol::lol: @ you listing Cotto. They are not going to let him anywhere near GGG. He had to use a catchweight to fight a crippled Martinez for christ sakes. :rofl:patsch

    I was copy/pasting AquaMarines post.

I put his post in bold.

But I agree with you that nobody involved in Cotto's career will ALLOW him to fight GGG.

While I don't think Cotto is afraid to LOSE, he knows he would be stopped and embarrassed.

The risk of such an embarrassment is not worth the 3-4 mil he'd make fighting GGG when he could headline his own card vs Rubio or Murray and make nearly the same money, or PPV vs Bradley and make more $$$$.

Cottos next 3 fights will be against Bradley(October), Rubio in January, and Canelo on Cinco deMayo as co-main with Mayweahter vs Pacqioua 1.

He'll make 6-7 mil vs Bradley, 3 mil vs Rubio, and 10-12 mil vs Canelo when he hands his title to him next May.:good
