There are many variables, Cotto Martinez wasn't the only recently underperforming ppv card. If promoters weren't so greedy trying to squeeze every last dime out of the fans, then maybe us fans wouldn't be hesitant to purchase.

 

the prob is the outrageous price of 70 to 80 bucks for a PPV, thats almost the cost for an entire month of cable

 

Guess that means it won't be Canelo, GGG, Mayweather or Pacquiao. Shame i wonder will he fight Solimon? Maybe Qullin but i would have thought they'd make that ppv.

 

Like I said, trying to squeeze every dime from the fans.

 

Jesus, does Bob Arum's stable of fighters consist of more than six guys? I don't want to see Cotto defend his "middleweight" title against Bradley, or Marquez, or Pacquiao or Provodnikov or any other Arum go-to guy.

I want Cotto to fight Middleweights. Defend your title like a "real middleweight champion."

Fight Golovkin, Kid Chocolate, Martin Murray, David Lemieux, Billy Joe Saunders, Daniel Jacobs ... hell, just go down the list. Take your pick. Fight in England. Fight in Canada. Go around the world.

Be a world middleweight champion.

So I just read the article.

Arum says there are too many PPV fights. Then he follows it up with Cotto will fight on PPV at the end of this year (maybe against Bradley) and on PPV next May against Alvarez.

So, basically, there are too many PPVs, but I refuse to stop regardless.

A number of sports venues told me their cost was too high!!!
Some had cover charge but most venues didn't carry it!!!

Didn't Bradley fight at 154 in the ams, where he took on Ward and Berto? He probably has no problem making weight there, very disciplined fighter. He could beat many fighters at 154.

 

I hope Canelo follows suit also.

 

I would honestly be fine with him fighting Rubio next, but I'm not sure if the network would go for it.

 

I think some of these low ppv numbers have to do with how much it cost its something like 75 dollars for HD, that amount should only be reserved for like super blockbuster fights like a Floyd vs Pacquiao fight
