Some of these guys who might not have got a title shot before because of various boxing politics might get their chance now because Lomachenko needs fights.

If the other belt holders don't want it, Gamalier Rodriguez and Kamil Laszczyk were cut in front of as well.

Originally his medical when he was scheduled to fight Rigo flagged up he may have HIV. But he claims further tests revealed it actually was Thalassemia which he may have caught during a blood transfusion whilst in a Thai hospital...

Whether or not this is a Tommy Morrision situation no one knows either way he's not faught since, I'm not a medical professional so I'm not the implications of Thalassemia :good

Piriyapino is actually a beast given how little known he is. Good to see him get a big fight if this goes down.

If you're looking to watch a great underrated fight, watch Chris John vs. Piriyapino.

After Lomachenko beat Jose Ramirez, he got ranked #5 in the WBO.
The 4 fighters ahead of him were Gary Russell Jr, Chonlatarn Piriyapino, Kamil Laszczyk, and Joel Brunker.
Before the GRJr fight, Lomachenko was ranked 4th behind GRJr, Piriyapino, and Gamalier Rodriguez.
Joel Brunker is fighting Lee Selby in some sort of IBF eliminator.
Not sure about Laszczyk's next fight.
