there's just so many robberies to choose from in the USA, but this one sits perfectly in the Gold medal position. Novikov won the fight clearly, but got ripped off in a way that was predictable yet again. i bet you were thinking Vargas by a couple to try and make the robbery look as good as possible, didn't you?? Well the scores were obviously extremely controversial, although I think it should have been 114-114, meaning that Vargas still keeps his title. But yes, the wide scores in favor of Vargas were so predictable. Allakhverdiev was robbed of a victory against Vargas in the same fashion. So far, every US card I watch, there has to be some controversy in at least one fight.
i'll never say the UK is perfect, because it isn't. they do have robberies now and again. but they're rare. we then speak out against that bull****. but make no bones about it, the UK is the fairest place to box in the world. clearly. there was no "arm slinging", he put his punches together really well. i enjoyed his performance. good boxer. no, his power isn't big or anything, but it's still good. he's not feather fisted.
