There are weight classes for a reason! If you are the champ of the mw division then prove that you deserve this place by fighting at 160 lbs, not at a c/w.

    This is a ***** move !

If he'll fight GGG on a catchweight,, he'll get knocked out,,... So what's your point???

And that's coming from the most visited poster here on ESB,,...

I have no problem with that but the fight should be @160 lbs, not c/w.

I'd even watch GGG vs Mayweather @152 or GGG vs Pacquiao @150 though the risks should be much higher as he goes down,,... Because as he drains lower he fights the riskier fight....

It would HAVE to be above the LMW limit of 154. Freddy Roach mentioned 155. Bob said it would be Bradley at 155.

Cotto is a bulked up WW anyways, so at 155, still, he's blown out the water by GGG.

But I'd give him a fair chance vs Pacqioua at 155.:think

Unification fight would be good but should another champion at the same have to fight a catchweight contest , really though he should be fighting Golovkin

IMO its pointless to say Cotto is the MW champ if he does not defend his wbc mw trinket @ 160lbs, no matter against who (GGG, Quillin, Soliman, Rubio, Murray, Mora or Lee).

So there hasn't been time to really negotiate a fight, everything is rumors and heresay, but Cotto should vacate immediately, using that logic, Floyd should vacate his 154lb belt.

I say Cotto can go as far as 158 lbs catchweight and that's acceptable,,... But that was just my opinion
