Not going to happen - he's a married man with two young kids.

I don't think Gavin was utclassed and I do think he would have won with a bit to spare failing the KD. He should go for a rematch ASAP.

 

He wants to see this more as a learning curve than a set back.

Get back in the gym & really look to kick the arse out of his career now.. fully dedicate himself to the sport, live & breathe boxing.

 

i know what you mean but i really think his skills are wasted especially here in the uk , i stand by my earlier post kids or not if he really wants to get to the top scarifices have to be made , i just think it would bring him on faster and time aint exactly on his side , no need to rush to a world level fight but at the same time cannot afford to take back ward steps

Groves-Gavin catchweight would be a big fight.

 

I don't think that's really fair - boxing is 'only' sport, it's not worth forgoing your kids...

He has to take the risk and got the rematch - I'd fancy him to win to be honest.

 

i understand what you mean regaurding his kids but seriously he could come back for a couple of months to catch up whilst ticking over over here ,
it is a carrer path frankie as choose and i am sure he will want to do as well and bank as much dollar for his kids as he can , i do not mean forever just 24 months or so for the rough and tuffness of thoses gyms

He'll be hoping Bundu vacates. He will fight a few cans and then fight an easier fighter for the title and try to milk that title for a while, before being starched for a payday. That's his actual plan imo.

 

He needs to spend some serious time with a psychiatrist- he has some problems and should take some time away from the sport to address them. Unless he does that and gets away from his depression issues I don't think he will progress any further
