I feel like this guy is underrated going into the fight. He's been schooling some decent opponents and being that he's undefeated, he's coming in with a lot of confidence. Allan Green is a good gate keeper and Caparello outboxed him rather easily. The guy's got some slick defensive skills and hasn't been hit clean much. His style is very compact, and throws his straight left from his southpaw stance with some good speed. I don't think he can beat Kovalev, but he's going to give Kovalev some trouble early and may even steal a few rounds. I see this fight going more than 6 rounds. If Kovalev is fighting Hopkins next, this is really the perfect warm up opponent because of his defense and countering ability.
Algieri didn't have the power to keep Provo off, but he did have the defensive skills and footwork to win the fight. Again, I'm not saying Caparello will win, but he's going to give Kovalev some rounds.
hello and i agree but ive said it a few times aswell, no one watches fighters like this, because they have never heard off them they think its another walk over. when in reality caparello gives alot of problems to everyone in the division. clever ,tricky, with sharp combos and length. My critiscm would be that he doesnt punch correctly, he slaps his long right hand to the body its a big wide slap. his long left hand hasnt got much spark to it either. Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev may need to take a few here or we may see a great performance from the Krusher, if he manages to A demolition job on Blake it further solidifies his brutality and notoriety in the lhw division. :bbb
