Jaime Moore shot in Marbella....

Amazing the site management continue to sit on their hands and do nothing about this problem. No doubt lots of good posters have given up on this forum as a result....shame really.

Any news on what the reason was behind this? Wrong place, wrong time or deliberate?

 

According to the Irish Sun, it was a case of mistaken identity, Jamie was apprently staying in the villa of Danny Kinahan and was shot returning home from a party, seems like the gunman thought he was Kinahan. That would suggest it certainly wasn't a warning hit, they wouldn't shoot to warn Kinahan they'd want him dead.

 

True, although if they wanted him dead that badly - who they thought was your man - they would surely have killed Jamie, no?

 

Well they did shoot at him 5 times, Hit him 3 times maybe they just failed i just doubt you'd fire at someone 5 times if all you wanted was to warn them.

 

I didn't know it was five times mate! That's scary stuff.

 

This could be an old school case of some crew setting out to just embarrass this Kinahan fella by plugging Moore, if they'd wanted this fella dead then they'd have made sure. probably a shot across the bows by plugging a high profile ex-boxer/trainer like jamie who was a guest/friend/whatever ect. 'Look what we can do, any place any time'. seems very odd to say the least.

 

Why does anybody need to know the real reason. the main thing should be Jamie got shot and the gunman needs bringing to prosecution surely?

Just guessing but us there any possibility that the kinahan mob could have been using Jamie as some sort of minder, bodyguard whatever? Maybe in this capacity he could have fallen foul of someone?

Call me bad minded but I'm a bit leery of the " mistaken identity" theory. That would be fair enough if it happened at some random location, but right at kinahans villa? Come on!

In any case I've always liked Jamie and wish him a speedy recovery.

If this makes Mack wake up and disassociate himself from that crowd it might turn out for the best....
