How come boxing_master hasn't answered this question? He has a hard on for both GGG & pac. I seen hiss side comments on Floyd (of course) but has not answered this question. Who wins between GGG vs pac??
Golovkin is the best 160 lb. fighter in the world today, by far. Golovkin offered to fight Void at 154, but Void ran away................................Void is running from Pac............................
Golovkin beats both Mayweather and Pacquiao fairly easily to me. Pacquiao gets hit too much, and Golovkin's power is absolutely insane. When Pac took on Marg, every punch he took seemed to shake him up badly. The weight class was too much for him. Marg's got okay power, but if that was happening then Golovkin would absolutely destroy him. Mayweather SEEMS to have a weakness against guys who will try and bully him like Maidana tried. Maidana put him on the ropes and threw loads of punches. Mayweather couldn't slip them much, he took them on the gloves. You take a shot from Golovkin on the gloves, that **** still hurts. Golovkin would need to be in there like Maidana though, trying to be a bull.
GGG is to big for Pac and Floyd. Niether are ducking him. The only people that says they are ducking are hater of each fighter or super fan boys of the other fight.
The amount of fighters ducking other fighters is very low. Someone like Mayweather doesn't even watch boxing. He only does fights that financially make sense for him. He doesn't care about fighting top competition because he's already cemented his legacy. If he happens to fight top competition (which he has in the majority of his fights), it's because the 'money team' see the most dollars in it. Mayweather couldn't really give a **** who he fights because at this stage he doesn't think he even CAN be beat. Pacquiao would probably do best fighting people Mayweather already beat exclusively. Guys like Bradley, Clottey, JMM make him look really bad most of the time, while people like Ghost and Ortiz are tailor made for Pacquiao to look outstanding (getting a KO in both most likely). The fact that Pac's taking on guys that improve his boxing more so than make him look good shows that he's not afraid to go in there with someone he could struggle with. Then people are saying Cotto is ducking GGG. Before GGG, the hype train was on Martinez. Cotto has faced both Pacquiao and Mayweather. Him, like most fighters, are getting the "I'll fight whoever they put in front of me" attitude. Not every fighter is like Froch, who looks at his resume like he's already retired, and wants people to be able to defend him down the line.
cant agree with that its much more lucrative to 'get a belt', get tv interest, and get someone to flash that shiny 'world champion' belt around the ring before a fight, than it is to actually step up in competition and prove yourself the more lucrative the sport gets (for paper belt holders), and the more savvy promoters gets, the easier it will be to feed this to the masses
