Dear boxing fans! We've just set up a brand new BOXING TRAVEL website YourBoxingTravel.com and i'm very keen to hear what YOU, the fans, want out of that dream trip to the big fight(s). British boxing is on fire at the moment, with the sport once again managing to cross over into the mainstream and attracting new fans, both young and old alike. It's an exciting time, and with the potential of big international fights featuring British fighters, we believe there is a growing demand for packages designed specifically for the boxing fan, such as the Mayweather vs Maidana package that we are currently selling. What i'd like to know is what you think of this as a concept and why you, as a fan, would consider using a company such as ours as opposed to organising a trip yourself. Is it the quality of the accommodation that is your biggest concern? The unique selling point of the package (such as the meet and greet with Mike McCallum)? The quality of ticket and where you'd be sat, or simply the price of the whole thing, is it affordable? Your thoughts on this would be genuinely welcome and will help us refine how we do things moving forward so that we are able to offer YOU the best and most memorable BOXING TRAVEL experience. Many thanks YourBoxingTravel.com
Nothing personal, but a re-design of your website would not go amiss, dump the open source 'word press approach & get a bone-fide coder to make you a bespoke product. You are not going to get anyone on board with this amateur approach. You are testing the waters that 1000's have already swam, 1st & foremost get a professional looking website up & running, 2) show what is on offer by way of the Vegas appearance, from shopping/cheap gear ect, bars, clubs, fight weigh in's, jeezus, there's a pile of things you need to do.....Have you ever been to a big fight in Vegas,? I doubt it! This is why folk tend to go solo, due to previous bad experiences from outfits that do not have a clue. As I said earlier, nothing personal, but you come across as a greenhorn outfit, not good.
just talking last night with the missues about a trip to vegas sooner or later strictly for fight night
Did yer missis give yer the raised eyebrows...LOL Like you I've got the itch to get there for a biggie again, I'd love it to be Cotto/Canelo, full on manic atmosphere, there's got to be a latin or mex involved for me, Froch/Chavez would be a blast, but I'm not into Floyd fights, he just does not attract fight fans, mostly tourists in Vegas for the weekend, I've always camped out in the MGM Zuri bar next to the lobby. I stayed at NYNY last time I went over for Pac/Marquez, got an incredible deal of £262 for 6 nights from Thompson's. I've seen plenty of outfits over the years spring up doing trips ect, but unless I can see the ABTA symbol's ect & other associated insurance coverage then I'd avoid them. But anyone can now through up a site in a couple of hours & promise this & that, I'd only ever go through a specialist if I knew that they'd got tickets & I could'nt get them. I'm not being hard on them,..but, one look at that site, it looks to me as if some female put this thread up, someone not having a clue about what it's all about? Queensbury Travel were doing the fight trips to Vegas, there site's down at the moment. But that is the benefit of a established outfit with a track record who are tied in with a promoter or the casino, they get the best blocks of seats in the arena, the ones that never go up on ticketmaster or the MGM.
