They're a magazine. I'm talking about sanctioning body belts, not some belt given out by a magazine that's owned by a cross dresser.
I like Haye but does anyone else think this mans career is gonna be spectacularly short? I don't think he'll even reach 30 fights to be honest. He's too big for cruiser and may just be a touch too weak in the chin area to make a big impact up at heavy.
He's never been properly knocked out or even badly hurt. He's run out of gas and been a little shaken after slipping against mormeck.. His speed should allow him to get hit less as a HW. I have high hopes
Hopefully i'm wrong. I'd love to see him actually do the business up at heavy. But the other side of the coin is, even if he did beat the top heavies, I still don't think his career will last very long. I can see him packing it in quite early win or lose so to speak. Either he gives everything he's got and comes up short or does exactly as he tells us he's going to do and walks away on top. He just dosen't strike me as the type of fighter that wants to rack up defense after defense.
Haye's a great HW addition, he's definitely going to bring interest. He's a bit too full of himself though, not that likeable.
Not a fan of Haye at all. Granted he is head and shoulders above the other Cruisers but at the same time he hasnt proven **** yet at heavy. Not my cup of tea.
Joe Calzaghe should pull a Roy Jones, move up to 199 and challenge Haye at heavyweight. I'd bet solid money that Calzaghe UD's Haye.
Nonsense. Watch the Mormek fight again, his legs turn to jelly when he gets hit and he has to hang on for his dear life for the rest of the round. I can understand why the boxer himself may be in denial about things like this, but when fans do that, it makes them look like an idiot.
He got hit in the temple and his foot went through the ropes, while he was holding himself up he took about 3 massive shots... he sensibly took a knee and recovered. That's the reality of it. He winked at his corner. His punch resistance is fine and he recovers well.
You know, if Wlad were to hit Haye with the same punch he hit Brock with, or the first right he hit Byrd with, how long do you think Haye would be on ***** St.? Would Haye walk around the ring doing his best Eliza Doolittle impersonation?
