It's for the "WBA Regular title" Golovkin is the main man. To be fair it's a good fight though and Fletcher has regrouped well to come back from the Saunders defeat. Daniel Jacobs will be too much for Fletcher IMO.

As for Saunders he's not far off from a fight with Peter Quillin, but it depends if he goes for that fight or the big domestic dust up with Eubank Jnr.

Fletcher hasn't improved at all and if they fought again the caravan kid would win again.

Fletcher has been dumped into a world title fight, where BJS will be more than ready when the time comes.

True, but I think Billys own opposition will have to be stepped up soon,or he might find himself in the same position as Fletcher when his own turn comes. And Im not expecting Fletcher to go very far with Jacobs either.

    Totally agree.

Jacobs should beat Fletcher comfortably and it's true that Saunders should start to fight some top 10-15 level opponents now. Whilst I would love to see him fight Eubank there's no reason he should be looking for that fight other than a payday.

He needs to step it up now.

jacobs to beat Fletcher by a mile. Different class. IMO DJ is best US middle - far better than Quillin.

Nothing wrong with Billy-Joe's opposition. He's cleared out good domestic level/promising young boxers such as Fletcher, Ryder, O'Sullivan and Blandamura.

I'd like to see him take on Eubank Jr to firmly establish himself as the best young middleweight (although Eubank will duck him so that won't happen). Since the Eubank fight won't happen, I think he should step up to a fringe world level/gatekeeper such as Mundine or Vera.
