Hopkins Vs Joe Calzaghe Needs A Rematch!

If Hopkins didnt hit and hold so much I would want to see it, but damn man he was like a mini Ruiz in there.

 

Please no...not a rematch...what a boring fight !!

 

I had the Hopkins up by 1 point after 4 rounds due to the KD in the
first round. After that Calzaghe started landing his jab, backing Hopkins
up and just took over the fight. So I agree with your score but most
see it much closer. I guess some fans like watching a guy grab another
guy and then elbow him, rabbit punch and hit him in the groin area
and then fake low blows to get a rest. I like watching boxing.

 

Joe lost his undeafated record to a 43 old, imagine what it would mean losing to hopkins again...

 

It was a clear win for Joe and that doesn't warrant a rematch when Joe could be fighting Jones Jr., Pavlik or Dawson. It wasn't like it was a great back & forth fight either..................

exactly! i was really disapointed on the lack of exitement and quality boxing in the jc-bhop fight! borring clinching and holding.
rewatch the jc- kessler fight, now thats what its all about.
i think a fight against pavlik would be a hell of a fight and if not then a roy jones jr fight could make a good one too, but a rerun of what we saw saturday night:nono
