Rodriguez is tirelessly stalking and looking to lay a hand on Takayama no matter the cost in damage absorbed or connect rate worsened. He nails Takayama with a good hook on the body and takes a three hit combo on the face. Big hook on the throat by Rodriguez. Takayama wheels out but Rodriguez stays with him, throwing hard. Takayama flurries as hard as he can to back Rodriguez off, but can't!

Rodriguez is missing his jab but driving through with his follow-up right and landing it square on Takayama's mouth. Takayama is doubling his jab out from his forehead into Rodriguez's gloves while tracking left on a cushion of air. Lunging 1-2 by Rodriguez, snapping Takayama's head back as he circles away. Uppercut by Takayama braking and lurching in abruptly to stall Rodriguez's head of steam. Rodriguez is sweeping the body with both hands. BIG hook on the chin at mid-range by Rodriguez as Takayama pumps straights down toward his body.

Round 10

Rodriguez bounds after Takayama from the bell, throwing hooks on the body. Takayama runs and streams out 1-2s to no avail. Rodriguez is bearing down on him, clubbing on the inside and shoving away Takayama's clinch attempts. Big uppers on the body up close by Rodriguez. Takayama shoeshines through Rodriguez's gloves, then whips in some body shots and backs up. Rodriguez lands a left hook, straight right hand, and left uppercut on the face of Takayama, all over him providing no quarter. Flush 1-2 by Takayama backing up. More hooks and rights by Rodriguez staying close. Takayama switches to body shots while sliding his feet back. Rodriguez leads with the right hand on the bridge of the nose. Takayama leans in to clinch. Double right jab by Rodriguez, Takayama's head bouncing at the end of them.

HOLY ****!! Rodriguez slips on the canvas as soon as they leave their corners and Takayama jumps on him, throwing several punches straight into his face while he is down. No disqualification! Rodriguez gets up and shrugs at the ref. Time in! Rodriguez is throwing big combos, doubling up on both hooks and right hands by turn. Takayama is throwing his own double right hands but not slowing Rodriguez. Hooks on the body from Takayama, putting all he can into them and then leaning in to rest. Rodriguez lands a right hand between the eyes. Flurry by Takayama. Body shots by both. Rodriguez keeps swinging his full body around with spring-action left hooks. Takayama is punching madly, wildly, jabbing and slashing with the right. Rodriguez has a bloody nose and keeps marching into Takayama, never ceasing his own punch output.
