Kessler vs Ward 2, can some1 confirm this?

He won an Olympic medal in Athens...last time I checked, Greece wasnt in America.

Hes also fought twice outside of America as a pro.

try to bear in mind you're the only poster on this forum who rated eddy rod as a credible opponent.

 

How can fighting a guy hes already fought(who was probably a better fighter then than he is now) be a step up?

Unless of course you only count the very last guy a fighter fights.

And frankly, at this point, a semi retired Kessler coming of a loss isnt a whole lot of a step up from La Bomba.

because he's the only man ward has fought since a long lay-off and major surgery. until he shows otherwise, there are still question marks over whether ward is the fighter he was. although we know for sure kessler ain't the man he was.

 

Its perfect fight for Ward if it did happen, away from home, giving a respected fighter the chance at a rematch. This would do wonders for Wards reputation imo

If you search Mikkel Kessler in google news there are a couple of Danish websites saying the deal will be done in the next 48 hours. Those articles have no quotes or sources, so might just be gossip.

 

Any Danish speaking buddies around?
