Honestly, I feel that Mayweather vs Khan because as we speak no one in boxing doea mayweather numbers as it is already. Bringing in Khan only enhances this superiority having the English people.

Agree, but that does not necessarily translate into huge PPV numbers.

Canelo/Cotto will probably do in the 600-800K range whereas FLoyd/Kahn
will probably be in the 700-900k vicinity.

    Canelo/Cotto.

Floyd did 700K with a shitty opponent in Guerrero. He won't do that much better with Khan.

Canelo/Cotto would be huge. PR and Mexican fans buying up PPVs. And the fight itself is very intriguing.

:goodReal good thread Emallini. A perfect thread to reasonably and constructively douse off any continuous flames and accusational rumors out there that a fight between Mayweather-Pacquaio was actually destined to happen on that May 2, 2015 date just because Floyd said that he had a "surprise" for everyone on that date following his upcoming rematch with Maidana. Mind you that Floyd never even mentioned Manny's name or anyone else's name for that matter for that date. Just sheer wreckless assumptions on every no it all's part.

Cotto-Canelo will be huge. Trust me. Remember Cotto-Margarito 2 did big numbers and Margarito is not even close to as big as Canelo.

Mexico vs Puerto Rico would sell way better, nobody gives a **** about Khan here.

I think it would be Canelo/Cotto. Although Cotto's PPV with Martinez underperformed, I think these two together would produce do close to 1,000,000.

I don't think Mayweather has many options left. Unless he wants to fight Pac or GGG, there's nobody out there who poses a challenge. The last Maidana fight turned me off of Mayweather forever. He can say he's TBE and operate in his own little circus, but I've decided not to partake anymore.

Cotto-Canelo will break records for the 2011-2020 decade. May-Khan, not so much.

You think Cotto-Canelo does more than 2.2M buys and 150M PPV revenue? That's comical. DLH and Trinidad were both way more popular among Mexican and Puerto Rican fan bases, and they only did 1.4M PPV buys (and that was before mass internet streaming). Mayweather has done at least that much 4 times, vs. DLH (2.4M), Mosley (1.4M), Cotto (1.5M), and Canelo (2.2M).

Close to it in terms of # of buys anyway. How is it comical? Biggest PR star vs biggest MEX star.

The Cotto event is a much better attraction. If given a choice and both events where on the same night,I would buy the Cotto fight.Could care less about Khan.
