Chagaev, Jacobs, Chudinov, Quillan, Soliman, Stiverne

In a way, Adonis Stevenson is a paper champ because he refuses to fight the best in his division.

I wouldn't really consider the WBA "World" Champions to hold legitimate titles, the "Super" Champion is the one considered as the champion. So that clearly means that Jacobs and Chagaev don't count at all. This is nothing but more complication from the pathetic money-seeking WBA. Chudinov isn't even a champion, he's an "Interim" WBA champion and shouldn't belong on your list. Surely I hope you know what Interim means.

Stiverne fought for a vacant title, it's not his problem Vitali vacated and moved on. He was prepared and ready to fight Vitali. Can't really consider him a paper champion even if Wladimir is officially the #1 in the division. Qullin fought an undefeated fighter and won the WBO title, he sure as hell didn't get the title on a silver plate to be considered "paper". Soliman beat a champion to win the IBF title as well so he sure as hell isn't a paper champion either. If those two are paper champions then what does that make Golovkin?

Stevenson is the lineal champion and the #1 man in the division. He is also set to possibly fight Pascal next with the winner to face off against the winner of Hopkins vs Kovalev. Only an imbecile would consider Stevenson a paper champion when he won the title in explosive fashion against the official #1 man in the division. He also recently defended his title against an extremely tough opponent who wasn't promoted or hyped well enough on "paper" for the likes of you to recognize him.

Every guy with a WBA "regular" when there's a Super champion and the "interim" beltholders

    Chagaev (WBA regular)
    Brähmer (WBA regular)
    Jacobs (WBA regular)
    Rubio (WBC interim)
    Thurman (WBA interim)
    Quigg (WBA regular)

and that's just the tip of the iceberg. I actually like Jacobs, Thurman and Rubio, but they are no champions.

How am I trolling? This is a serious thread. Ofc they may not be champs but I meant popular/known fighters who haven't proved themselves yet

paper champion = champion on paper but in reality no. For instance if tomorrow the WBA and IBF gave Zelenoff the belts he would be a paper champion. It may SAY he is a champion, but we recognize that he isn't THE CHAMP. Or even close to being it.
