i just got hold of The Method. I was taught the same style by Max Pescud, good to fine tune, reinforce, the style's not everyones cuppa tea, but Fammo left the game in good shape as did Ferreri and Barry Boy.
Well worth it mate. That site is a little gold mine for those with a sense of history. Unfortunately the Jack Discoll download doesn't seem to work - but all the others I've tried have.
Great book in PDF = Gene Tunney's "Boxing & Training" 1928. Phone me if interested (I don't check the site very often). Bill 804-716-7038 (va,)
Just finished reading, Undisputed Truth: My Autobiography by Mike Tyson. Couldn't put it down, such an Authentic Autobiography, Tyson is upfront, honest and does not hold back one bit, there is a lot that he reveals and its a huge insight into his life & boxing career, one hell of a fascinating read. Well worth buying, you wont be disappointed. I picked it up in a book shop just having a browse and did not expect a lot, what a shock i got when this book turned out to be the most entertaining books I have read in a very long time.
