I'm not daft. I want to see him clean up no matter how long it takes. Hopkins waited a decade for his unifications.
Look what's coming up. Jacobs Chudinov Korobov Magomedov That the others are scared shitless to fight him, doesn't mean the next generation is too.
Cleanup and dominate the second most prestigious weight in boxing. They have to fight him sooner or later. A boxer shouldnt be forced to move up in weight. Same with people saying PBF should fight GGG, Ward should fight Kov etc.
Jacobs is coming....really? He looked average the other night. And I'm a fan of the guy. I was singing his praises years ago before his bout with cancer. But, the truth is, he's not the same fighter. He has regressed or maybe he's just not as good as I once thought he was. But he is not the future of the MW div. and he'd surely get schooled by GGG. Jacobs has too many flaws in his game. The others....well, I haven't even heard of. Seen Korobov a handful of times and the others aren't even on the radar. You guys seem to be missing the point that fighters don't fight like they did in years past. They maybe fight three times a year once they get to where GGG is currently at. You think a guy like Magomedov is going to get a shot in the near future? It's not going to happen. Seriously...it's not. He isn't Lomachenko. Lomachenko and Rigo are special cases in boxing. I'm not saying that there isn't other talent in the div., but what I am saying is that the overall picture of the boxing landscape and how it currently operates doesn't lend itself to a fight with the guys you mentioned against GGG for the most part. GGG has already beaten the best guys in the div. and the ones he hasn't fought don't want to fight him. So, since that's the case, he needs to do the smart thing and move up to challenge himself. It is the best career decision he can make. And if he lingers around and continues to fight guys who aren't worthy adversaries, well, that would be too bad. GGG has the talent to move up divisions like so many other great fighters before him have. So, I don't understand the reticence from fans.
GGG shouldn't be forced to move up, he can still fight Cotto Quillen or Soliman as others have said.. or even Martin Murray...... maybe Sturm.... If absolutely none o fthem want to fight, then he can move up... but I can see him for the remainder of this year and throughout spring, summer, if not the entire next year at MW............. now if he can;t get any decent fights, he might as well move up to face Ward Dirrel Bika Froch or anyone else he can at 168........ or maybe move down to fight Canelo or Lara since he said he can make 154....... but regardless 160 is good for now honestly, there's people he can fight
:deal finally a man after my own heart...! What is it about the looneys who try to force GGG out of his weightclass? (ps isnt Ward finished boxing? )
Haven't the top 5 already turned him down? The rest aren't exactly great fights for him some of which are still prospects.
You are an idiot , way more talent coming trough at 160 than 168, He should stay there and eubank isn't even in the top 15 prospects at 160 ffs
and Khytrov ,Deverychenko, Golub, Quigley, Cummings, Murata , BJS, coming thtough to add to Cotto,Quillen,Solimon, Murray and soon to be Alvarez, he cant fight at catchweights for his whole life
Murray, Cotto, Solimon and Quillen have already turned him down though have they not? Many of the others you have listed have yet to have 10 fights, and the others are still prospects. Canelo could be a good fight but GGG is contracted to fight on HBO and Golden Boy fighters mostly fight on Showtime, so not sure how likely it is.
