Why are people hating on Bradley-Cotto??

I don't see Bradley being nearly as effective at 154 and above as he is at 147, and I don't think Bradley at 147 is near as skilled/diverse/good as Bradley at 140 was.

 

cause it sucks? more people deserving a shot at the middleweight title than someone who has yet to fight even at 154 :-(

Taking the MW championship of the world and running down to welter weight with it? Thats some bull****.

However, id love to see them both fight.

I think it's a good fight. Two top elite fighters going at it. Even at 154 or 155... bradley would bring it on and could win.

 

Cotto beats him, IMO Bradley, would have problems just being the smaller/lighter man.
Cotto's left hook to the body will hurt him, and hurt him bad.

 

I agree. And I think Cotto's performance against Martinez does less for Cotto than Bradley's win over Pac. There I said it. Even a robbery over Pac was more impressive than Cotto beating Martinez. Martinez was clearly shot to ****, his knees didn't work the entire fight. He isn't saying this cause he would most likely be sued for lying to the commission saying that he was in good health to fight.

 

A good match up even at 154 or 160 because at the end of the day they weigh the same during fight night.
But, Cotto has a slight height advantage and to that he has been fighting much bigger men than Bradley has.

Bradley has only faced Pacquiao, Marquez and Provodniko at WW. Those are small weilterweights.

I would watch but not for the MW championship. That would be utter BS.

 

I won't hate it if cotto vacates his titles and they fight at some catch weight of 150 or somethin. If they fight at some catch weight for cottos middleweight titles I will hate it as much as possible. I will hate it slightly less if they fight at middleweight limit for cottos titles but I'd still hate it. If they fought at 150-152 and cotto vacated his titles I'd love the fight and I'd pick cotto. I think cotto is very very hard to beat if you can't hurt him. Brads can't hurt him.

 

If this fight happens it's beyond a joke ....it's a Farce!!!

 

Bradley, but Cotto will not fight his mandatory Rubio and he refused to fight Golovkin for the 160 lb. belt at 154...............

 

I think Bradley beats cotto quite comfortably. Don't see how people think otherwise.
