Chevez did not stop him, Rubio won 7-5 on most peoples scorecards but Chavez is Chavez and got a ridiculously wide UD.

Rubio actually visibly hurt Chavez twice, in the 5th with a body shot and stunned him a bit in I think the 7th..? or maybe 9th. I forget, but Chavez never bothered Rubio in the slightest.

The fight was a war, and anyone who thought Chavez beat up Rubio needs to have their eyes examined.

Rubio fights anyone and has a history of traveling to do it. I'm glad he's getting an opportunity and another payday against GGG.

I don't like his chances against Golovkin, but he's earned his shot and has been waiting long enough for another title fight.

I feel bad for Rubio because he's getting crap money. Loeffler admitted that Soliman got the same money to fight Taylor on ESPN2 that k2 offered to fight GGG on HBO.

    k2 is a joke :patsch

Didn't Pavlick ko this dude already? Are people saying GGG doesn't hit as hard as Pavlick?? I don't know, guess we'll have to wait and see. But someone please tell me what's going on with Rubio's skin discoloration. Is it vitaligo, or maybe a liver condition. Whatever it makes him hard to look at. I wanna throw up everytime I see him. I have an older female coworker that has discoloration like his. I can't stand being in the same room with her, so obviously I can't ask her the cause of it.

dont forget that winning the interim WBC title could force a mandate with Cotto if he drops his WBA title.:think

he could drop his WBA title with a contract from the WBA to fight Chudinov or Jacobs once he's won the WBC title:good

lets hope GGG learns from Lemieuxs mistake of trying to take out an appearing to be hurt Rubio.

He's deceptive an d had great recovery skills.:think

Golovkin will knock Rubio out cold. Soliman, Cotto, Quillin, Chavez, Void all refused to fight Golovkin.............

The only person GGG has knocked out cold lately is Ishida, Rubio is far sturdier, maybe a late corner stoppage
