Deontay Wilder - Here are the facts, now answer my question

This isn't a bash Wilder thread, nor trolling one. I'm just baffled how little he has been seen by Joe Public. I dont even think he has ever been talked about on ESPN , the biggest news station in the world, in any capacity.
No one on these boards want to give a realistic reason or theory what is going on with this guy and how his "Team" has handled his career.

A promoters wet dream is to be able to promote a guy like this.

1) He's a HEAVYWEIGHT
2) Hes big (6 foot 6)
3) likable, sense of humor, always smiling
4) He is the first American heavyweight in 20 years to MEDAL

My question is why with such a rare "phenomenon" hasn't he fought (showcased) on National TV??
There are more channels that air boxing cards in this era than ever. He's never headlined one. And has barley been aired at all. I mean who puts a 24-0 (24 KOs) heavyweight on Fox Deportes or Solo Boxeo? Really? No ESPN? NBC Sports? Fox Sports while he is rising in contention?
They dont even put him on a PPV undercard. with all the shi.t fights on undercards, wouldnt that ***y it up? You would think but NOPE.
No stories about him on ESPN, Never been on a talk show, i mean no Jimmy Kimmel? no Late show appearances Golden Boy for the #1 undefeated heavyweight from the U.S. who is getting a shot at the title soon? Not even any national radio sports show. they have done dic.k with this guy. I actually feel bad for the guy at this point. Hes getting ready to fight for the WBC Heavyweight title and Golden Boy has him on an under card on showtime extreme tonight!

What is the opposite of promote?

-suppress
-defame
-prevent

all the above is the answer. thats what they are doing to him

Tyrell Biggs made his pro debut on National TV ABC wide world of sports with the other 1984 Olympians
Henry Tillman, all over TV
Riddick Bowe, pro debut on sugar ray leonard undercard
Deontay Wilder is simply hidden from 90% of the TV audience, no other way to look at it.

 

apparently youre new to this forum.
i have bashed him and his opposition since day 1.
so yes, now even the supporters are seeing how bad he is and how phony his "#1" ranking is.
So why does golden boy even bother?
one thing maybe his team has done right is they seemed to have all but squashed the hooker incident. that went away QUICK.

1) Does Wilder know how bad he is?

2) Does he know his promoter Golden Boy has ZERO faith in him, thus fighting on the obscure of the obscure cards?

 

I knew Saintpat would come to his rescue. I believe you know him personally because you have always made excuses for everything he has done. which is fine
you do answer a lot of questions, but most are just excuses and BS when it comes to the bottom line

as far as who else Sports Center talks about boxing wise? My point was he is an Heavyweight from the u.s and Medalist in over 20 years...that trumps "other fighters that dont get any talk" , his warrants it in theory, so i call BS on that. in over 20 years, he is a rarity...he is awful, so they dont mention him
