Very impressive last night! It was one of the things that he had been lacking in the past. He used to make weight the wrong way and it made him fade in the fights and probably made him shaky with big shots.

Even from the weigh in you could see he looked very comfortable and it showed in the fight.

It just shows what proper conditioning can do. He got a different or a proper strength and conditioning coach in for this one and it paid of. It's something that shouldn't be underestimated. Conditioning allows more than just the ability to keep throwing towards the end. It keeps your mind focused, the ability to take a shot and brings you more confidence as the fight goes on knowing you have something left in the tank.

I've never felt Brook had a bad chin, i always felt his conditioning was what would be a problem and has been in the past. He fixed that when it mattered and looked a lot stronger than Porter in the last half of the fight.

Gotta respect him, he was obviously hungry and put the work in long before he got in the ring.

He showed when he's focused and done everything right he can mix it at the top level at Welterweight. He will win some and lose some at the top level but he won't be out of place.

I thought he fought a great fight. I too thought he would run dry but he still fought the last 3 or 4 rounds like he was fresh as a doughnut.

You have to give him credit for his performance, although the scores were a bit ****. He won but come on.

He fought a consistent fight. But he didn't exactly throw a lot of punches. I think he totaled something around 450 over 12 rounds?

He's an economical fighter. He doesn't exactly go out there and fight like Calzaghe. His conditioning is good enough these days. Porter had to expend more energy trying to get in close.

He's from Yorkshire, the toughest most uncompromising, beautiful place in the UK!

Yorkshire men are not like any other breed in the World
Hard as iron, stubborn as a mule, mentally strong, never wrong and never beaten
