How do people think Khan would be competitive with Floyd?

He can help him with his speed all he wants, Khan still can't keep up his speed for the full 12 rounds. In addition to that, Khan is a basic predictable fighter. Mayweather will humiliate him. Only a fool would honestly believe that Khan has a chance against a fighter like Mayweather.

 

So because both guys have fast hands they'd achieve the same results? Zab gave Floyd problems with his speed AND timing. He was countering Floyd early on. Once Floyd got his timing and rhythm down, it was over.

 

If only he had an iron chin. Khan is really, really fast. Volume puncher faster than Floyd with the reach to nullify Floyd's usual advantage, on paper, that's a bad match up for Floyd. Unfortunately that chin is simply not good enough. If he had his current chin but was a monster puncher then maybe, but he's just freakishly fast and has the reach.

 

Other than speed, Khan is nothing special.

 

Khan doesn't have the ring intelligence to be competitive with Floyd, even if he did have a good chin. Superb athlete, but just an ok boxer with a poor chin to boot.
