Are there any Boxers your ashamed to say your a fan of?

Yes. Obviously raping a minor like Morel did is a little different than family drama behind closed doors with very little consistency in documenting what actually went on (from a stomp, to a slap, to a push, to a hair pull... nobody knows other than the two of them). In my lifetime, in my household, things have gone down which supposedly would make most people wish I fell through a frozen lake. Yet, everyone I know has had similar craziness in their lives.

But to what degree? Where is the consistency with judging behavior? We can't try to act like we do at all.

Do you hate Pacquiao because he raises thousands of chickens to fight and slaughter each other? I don't. Do you hate Pacquiao because he has admittedly cheated on his wife routinely for years, over and over again? I don't. I don't care about those sort of personal things.

There is no consistency, so it's pointless. We don't know how these people act on the day to day outside of the spotlight.

Am I to dislike Ivan Calderon because one of his properties had a **** ton of cocaine seized on it?

Am I to dislike anyone who works with Conte or Ariza because I don't like those guys and their professional careers?

Am I to dislike Lampley and Kellerman because each of them have slapped their lover before?

Or am I a bad person if I like the resume and boxing of Jake LaMotta, Carlos Monzon, and Joe Louis despite them being known woman abusers?

Should Wladimir Klitschko automatically have to be my favorite fighter because he is the most charitably generous from what we can tell?

I separate all that out of the equation. I am a fan of them professionally. I am not fans of them personally, as I don't know or hang out with any pro boxers.

I don't care about Mayweathers' family drama. I don't care about Pacquiao's family drama. I don't care about Anselmo Moreno's family drama. Etc. etc. etc.

Fine.... but regarding Morel then:

 

"that stuff (I) said about him" is all truth.

He has had many, many affairs that are public knowledge with a bunch of the Philippines' hottest celebs. He also owns a chicken ranch where he breeds chickens for the sole purpose of **** fighting.

But as I've said before, I don't care or hold that against him.

As for "sucker punching" I assume you are referring to the Ortiz, Gatti, and Mosley fights. All of those were completely legal blows.

As for Pacquiao, he double punched Joshua Clottey, and that was technically a blatantly illegal shot (both gloves can't be used for striking at the same time). Where is all the outrage for that?

Once again, my stress is the lack of consistency here.

I will say I enjoy broner box but I love to see him loose and eat his ****. I'm also hoping floyd & pac loose but I'm a fan of bother, just to shock the boxing world.

 

*******s can't read anything negative on pacquiao. It's like the letters move and flip and they can't understand what they read. It's a one way conversation with them.

If they choose to do so, then I would expect them to equally dislike all other boxers that have a checkered or controversial past in some way (Hopkins went to prison, Kirkland legal problems, Angulo legal problems, Larsen "fondled a boy", Wilder hit or pushed a woman in Vegas, Tommy Morrison for DUI's, Kelly Pavlik for DUI's, Khan assaulted minors, Stevenson for assaulting and pimping minors, etc. etc. etc. in addition to the previously mentioned women beaters in Louis, Monzon, LaMotta, and countless more).

And then if they are so sensitive about others' lives, why stop there? (Mundine for comments showing happiness following 9/11/01 deaths, Broner for racist comments, Oscar for cheating on his wife and doing mad drugs and not paying his prostitutes leaving them with the hotel bill, Pacquiao for slaughtering chickens and cheating on his wife and expecting special treatment in not paying his taxes, Luis Lazarte for hanging out with known mafia associates, Tyson Fury for repeated personal attacks on opponents or any fighter who has talked trash to another fighter for that matter, Vitali Klitschko for having some questionable and not clearly stated income, etc. etc. etc.).

There is a line to be drawn for everyone. Quit acting like there isn't...

Maybe your line is between Pavlik DUI's and Oscar leaving a hotel bill with prostitutes.

My line is somewhere between Eric Morel/Carlos Monzon and then probably everyone else mentioned.
