All three official judges had it 66-65 to Jones, so Herrera would not have been robbed even had it gone on. :happy
Was it worth the 15 bucks IB? Are you glad you bought it? Knew you were questioning it earlier in one thread.
It's no big deal. I've had to watch my contemporary favorites get pulverised from Wonjongkam getting KTFO twice by relative journeyman within a couple month span, Paulie getting destroyed by Porter, Segura losing to Viloria in a beatdown and Sosa after having fallen in love with him in Calderon I, Chad Dawson get beaten down by Ward and then stopped in one by Adonis, Kazuto Ioka lose to a largely unworthy titlist in his bid to win a third title in a third division in his 15th fight in front of his home crowd... Tough times indeed.
Mike Jones has no one but himself to blame. It seems like the long layoff has affected his performance tonight.
The state of his face! :-( This content is protected This content is protected Swollen eye, bleeding from inside his mouth, and he keeps on pawing at his nose. (Herrera may have broken it) The cut, by the way, officially was from a punch.
Eh, yeah, satisfied customer here I guess when all is said and done. I am just wicked broke right now. :!:
yeah this sport is tough man. There are high highs and some very low lows :-( At least I didn't have to watch this fight. Paulie is one of my favorites also and I saw him get slaughtered this year along with Sergio Martinez
Well, if we look at the Granados fight... The only logical conclusion is that Kermit Cintron's stock has SKYROCKETED :happy
Ever think about opening a paypal account where people could toss you a few bucks here and there, since you do a literal service, and have for years, for everyone on here? I don't know if that strictly disagrees with your internal reasons for doing it, or morals, or whatever blahblahblah
I mean, I would feel a little weird about that...unless it was like some account set up just to fund the purchase of the odd internet PPV. They aren't exactly a commonplace occurrence though. I would feel like such a scrub asking people to subsidize, for instance, my Showtime or HBO subscription just because they like my RBR threads. :!:
Round 1 Valierre is moving in, putting up the southpaw jab helter-skelter. WILD left hands by Valierre, scoring as Thomas runs scared. Thomas holds as Valierre hurts him with another big left over the top. Lots of holding. Windmilling up close and missing by Valierre. 10-9 Valierre
