8pm Est start for Mayweather-Maidana 2, good for boxing

    I'm happy they did this and do this for all PPV's! I've always wondered how u East Coast Sports fans can deal with these super late events! Especially in boxing! I mean arent these Main events like 11-11:30pm?? sometimes 12am (Pac-JMM 4) My goodness!

    I hope all PPv's are like this from now on. Football is back and ppl, like myself, love College football and want to watch end of big games and also some west coast monster teams like Oregon,Stanford, USc which have 10pm est tips.

    I think that only means that the PPV broadcast will start at that time, with at least 3 or 4 undercard fights before the main event. I dont think ringwalks are taking place earlier than 11 pm. Having the main even at 8 pm will mean a 5 pm start in las vegas, which is just not going to happen.

    nobody sayid Main event will happen at 5pm dude :patsch:patsch

    but Main events have a chance to happen 7:30 8ish which is alot better then 8-8;30 9ish (11-12am est.)

    umm thats 1 am with 3-4am main event time! U must be a dumb ass!! Mayweather could care less about that. It's Golden Boy making moves, not Mayweather! Get his nuts out your mouth

    Im a UK viewer and normally stay up till past 5am for the big Vegas fights!

    SO!?!?! if u think that who cares!! its great for all sports fans. Tp bad is all you think about is Mayweather. sorry bro but im a sports fans. Big football games (Will be big Coillege basketball games in Novemember) that happen in and around that time. earlier Main event means catching the end or 3rd-4th quater of games which is awesome!

    Fine by me, I buy all the ppvs and host a party. 90%of the time no one cares much for the undercard fights and we just party it up until the main event starts. There are times it's 11pm before the main card starts and I'm a little tired by that time. So earlier start time sounds great to me, I can get my ppv party on and still get enough sleep in for the next day.

    I always record the fights and watch again when everyones gone and my house is quiet. I have some loud in your face type of friends, we do it for the event and you can miss quite a few details in the party environment. Same with football on Sundays, it's just what we do.
