    Povetkin was the one that pulled out with an injury. Later Atlas confirmed that he didn't want the fight to happen yet because he thought it was too early for his fighter.

    ---

    "Povetkin was supposed to challenge Klitschko on 13 December 2008, but on 25 October, he withdrew from the Klitschko fight due to an injury. The IBF then announced that Klitschko would have until 13 September 2009 to fight Povetkin, but that option was not exercised."

    Is Povetkin putting all his hopes at beating Wlad on Pulev?

    It's funny how the people who complain about Wlad holding never seem to complain about the amount of holding Hopkins does.

    No? I suggest you watch Hopkins vs Calzaghe if you can force yourself to.

    They, implies more than one, so do tell when Vitali got knocked out?
    Sounds like you're looking for a rise out of Scar, who posts fairly for a long time.

    For the record Im no Klitschko fan, I admire their athleticism and dedication, but I don't buy into them being ATG.

    Povetkin is the one that should have been disqualified. Always charging low head like a bull. Have you ever received a stomach headbutt? Of course not. **** makes you puke.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Hopkins fights like John Ruiz he holds/clinches a lot. Also fakes low blows which is disgraceful.

    Hopkins doesn't tower over his opponents and have stopping power like Wlad does.

    Again, whats Wlads excuse?

    Well if Wlad's not an ATG with his long term domination of the heavyweight division then neither are Holmes or Joe Louis. Holmes and Louis fought in **** poor eras talent and competition wise and did not face serious global competition like Wlad has for the last fifteen years. Wlad is an all time great heavyweight and would whip most of the past greats head to head. Hell, Louis, Ali and even the more dedicated Larry Holmes at age 38 were stumbling old men getting battered around the ring by fighters they would have slaughtered in their respective primes. Wlad at 38 is a still a lethal man of war.

    I dont disagree that right now, he is still a tremendous fighter.
    But I couldn't disagree more about his "serious global competition", or "would whip most of the past greats head to head".

    Ali, Louis, Liston, Frazier, Foreman, Tyson, Lewis, Holmes, all beat Wladimir for me.
    I think Tyson, Foreman and Lewis all demolish him quickly.
