It is the ultimate slap in the face to every boxing fan and pretty much prove that every excuse made by both sides were just that... BS excuses. There have been some really dumb ones for sure (stadium, $40 mil phone offer) ...

but when Floyd said he would never work with Arum (even though this came years after they were negotiating...or NOT negotiating according to Ellerbe because negotiations apparently never took place) I was cool with that. I wouldn't deal with someone who stole from me. So why suddenly would he be ok with it? It would make him look like a total idiot.

I can guarantee you 2 things:

    1. I will watch it
    2. No way in h*ll I pay for it.

I think a lot of it was somewhat staged to be honest. Both guys were making tons of money and a loss to either would've been detrimental to their careers and future earnings. Now that they are on their way out and their numbers have dropped, I think they'll fight each other. "Cashing out" so to speak.

Agree, I say F U to both camps, and although I'll watch it, I won't be paying for it.

If you don't like Pac (like me) there would at least be big a comedic enjoyment in watching Pac get slapped around and humiliated for 12 rds. If you do like Pac, well then yeah, f this fight.

  5. The best asian fighter of all time would get slapped around and not be compatible at all with Mayweather.

I would pay £100 to watch it on TV (lucky would only charge me £15) and 1000 to watch it live.

I don't get all the negativity. I agree it would have been better a few years back, but I have always wanted my theory proved that Floyd picks him apart. It would also be great for the sport.

Boxing casuals would all jump on the bandwagon and maybe we can make a few more fans of the sport.

Honestly, it would be great for the sport and you know it.

Everyone claiming they won't pay for it eventually will, especially when the fight draws near and everyone has been injected with enough hype.

I mean it's still a fight between top ten pound-for-pound types. So that's a good fight. I t's only disappointing because it should have happened many years ago.

I also still believe it's the toughest fight Floyd could take. Can't ignore that ****.
