Both fighters have beaten credible opposition yet Quigg easily beat Munroe who easily beat Kiko who is Framptons best win. Plus whilst both fighters are very good people seem to get caught up in the excellent promotion of Frampton and his achievements whilst at the same time down playing Quiggs. At this moment in time Quigg has done more in his career.
Please explain? Both fighters resume are pretty similar the only difference imo is Framptons best win is over a pretty basic fighter in Martinez which people on here seem to worship. Quigg on the other hand has beaten Munroe who whilst having two victories over Martinez is/was the much better fighter. It's close but one fighter has the better win and a portion (of type) of a world title the other one hasn't. Quigg > Frampton at the moment.
I think so. Don't get me wrong I think Kiko is a bull, he's the kind of fighter I like and tend to route for but Munroe whilst not flashy or excellent In any one area was the better fighter. It's a shame regarding Munroe as with right support system he could and should have been a world champion. Kiko is nothing special, he's robust, heavy handed but pretty basic and the top tier fighters should beat him. Frampton should win.
Because that is one fight, and it is debatable whether Quigg's Monroe is better than the current Martinez. Martinez has improved since 2009- even since he last fought Frampton. Plus the rest of Frampton's resume is better than Quigg's, and ranking him above Frampton ignores that he struggled to a draw with Salinas- a complete no mark.
How is it better than Quiggs? Both resumes are pretty much the same, the only difference technically is who has the better win Kiko or Munroe. Some people think Kiko has improved and that is yours/their opinion he well have done. To be honest I don't think he has he's a solid fighter. Frampton only stepped up his competition last year with a good victory over Molitor. Both fighters comp is comparable if Framptons is so vastly superior please expand , if your right I will agree but I cannot see it.
Because Molitor->Martinez->Parodi->Cazerez is better than: Prado->Salinas->Silva->Munyai And Quigg failed to beat Salinas. Sure he turned the fight around after 6 but it was still a clear draw- and he was out boxed clearly for 6 rounds. Failing to beat Salinas, a no mark who just got dispatched by Quevedo(who?), hurts his ranking. Whatever, you hold your opinion, I'll hold mine, but imo Frampton is clearly above Quigg.
