how long you been watching boxing? you ever seen floyd dance around the ring throwing jabs like ali?

this is what i'm talkking about with you people...your very stereotypical thinking...lemme explain something to you...floyd, ali, broner, RJJ, sweet pea, shane, hopkins all of them are VERY DIFFERENT FIGHTERS. they have VERY different styles, strengths and mental approaches...floyd is fast, but he's not as fast as judah or a lotta other guys out there. he doesn't move around that much. he will easily be able to gain 5-7 lbs of muscle and it not affect his performance.

he'll be able to tire maidana by using his own strength and back maidana up with his increased power. he won't have to move around a whole lot once he starts shoving maidana offa him and landing a few hard shots to get maidana's attention. then maidana is gonna be target practice.

what's your problem with floyd, dude? did he fcuk your wife? what's ridiculous is you talking about floyd outweighed marquez by 15 lbs...it was FOUR lbs. Marquez was 142 and floyd was 146. That's a diference of four, you ignorant barrio trash. And what did floyd do to marquez? floyd dropped him and hurt him repeatedly and abused him like a rented burro. only pacman and barrera have been able to drop marquez...and nobody ever questioned their power. if maidana comes in a 147 on fight night he doesn't make it past the 5th round. if floyd bulks up to 153, 155, i see him very likely knocking maidana out.

But canelo fought 2 years pre-mayweather fight at 147 and was at 152 vs trout.

How is that drained ? Plus he came into the fight 160-170

you're trying to reason with a maniac. He won't even hear any of what you posted... it doesn't fit with his agenda. that's why i didn't even dignify that post from him with an answer.

You are without doubt one of the most preposterously biased posters currently on this site...but you are usually good for a laugh (even if it is not intentional). And the above post is a classic.

BTW If Floyd KO's Maidana (brutally or otherwise) then I (who am certainly not a Mayweather hater) shall be suitably impressed.

My guess is that Floyd does not get the KO, but does box Maidana's ears off en route to a wide UD (or maybe even a very late TKO).

I never said nothing about Floyd dancing around. Hasn't moved around flashy in quite some time. What I am referring to is his ability to attack and counter with the added weight, not how much he's going to be hopping around the ring. Right now this is as heavy as he is going to be while still utilizing his style effectively and if you've noticed, he's been coming into fights looking jacked already. Do you think it would be wise to blow up some more given he's not a crushing puncher and an aggressive fighter. Mayweather is not a big puncher and added weight will make his punches slower and less snappy. He can't afford that because he will be more open to counters and less effective if he has to attack. Factor in that he throws no more than 2-4 punches every so often, he will definitely get outworked if Maidana attacks him the same way

We obviously know that Floyd has the power to KO Maidana

If he does, expect the *******s/Floyd haters to come out and cry about Ariza shakes, cry about the judges, cry about Floyd's xylocaine.

    :rofl
